I’m Willie Miesmer, an award winning, fun lovin’, productively melancholic copywriter and creative director.

I’ve worked at Red Antler, Grand Army, Nowadays, Ghost Robot, and freelanced for the likes of Mythology, Unreasonable Studios, Wolff Olins, and many more.

I’m known for bringing provocative, left field ideas, brilliant deck work, and AI-bolstered jingle writing skills to the meeting, slack, and email chain. Strategically unhinged, in a word or two.

In addition to renting my brains to Google, Mailchimp, Netflix, Puma Basketball, and J&J, I make award winning documentaries and music that’s been licensed to massive video games.

In other news, I have a small son and big hearted wife. In 2020, after 14 years living, loving and paying in Brooklyn, we donned our masks and moved to Hudson, NY. Since then the masks have come off and I’m in the city regularly. I still miss (complaining about) New York. But it’s always something.

I love collaborating with smart, funny, caring people who want to put singular ideas into the world. I work my a$$ off and don’t sleep very well. I’m open to freelance and full time.
